la crèche

Each evening of Advent, a small light calls the child. A figure from the crèche tells its part of the Christmas story, entrusts its flame — and takes its place in the family crèche.

One evening

From first glance to good night.

A few minutes each evening. A beginning, a path, an end.

  1. A small light

On the village map, at night, a small light comes on. The child touches it: it is calling.

  2. The flight

We fly over the village like a bird, to the door where someone is waiting.

  3. The figure tells its part

Mary, a shepherd, the donkey, a saint… each evening a figure tells its part of the story in a few short sentences.

  4. The flame entrusted

It entrusts a small flame to the child, to carry back to the crèche.

  5. Home on the donkey

On the donkey’s back, the flame is carried home, sheltered from the wind with a finger.

  6. The crèche, then good night

The figure takes its place with its candle. You send a light to someone you love and say good night: that’s all for this evening.

In the game

A village at night, santons, candles.

Figures inspired by Provençal santons, a village that lights up a little more each evening, and music-box melodies.

For parents

A ritual with an ending.

Faithful to the Gospel

Bible episodes follow the text of the Gospel. Stories from the lives of the saints accompany them; legends are labelled as such.

Nothing to unlock

Each evening ends with a good night. No streaks, no currency, no timer: the child can stop whenever they like.

Nothing leaves the device

No account, no ads, no purchase. Children’s first names stay on the phone. Each evening, a small “+” gives parents the reason the figure is there and a prayer to say together.
